CPTRICO is independent writing on software, systems, and the work of building.
This is a small site for essays and notes—less noise, more durable ideas. The archive will grow as new pieces are published.
Purpose
The site exists to hold measured thinking about how software is designed, shipped, and understood. It is a place for longer notes than a feed allows, and for ideas that should still make sense after the moment has passed.
Focus
The writing stays close to a few recurring concerns:
- Engineering — keeping systems understandable as products, teams, and codebases grow.
- Product — making tradeoffs when speed, quality, and clarity compete.
- Practice — learning unfamiliar work, and shipping without losing the original problem.
Approach
Pieces aim to be practical without being disposable. The bias is toward clarity, useful constraints, and the problem underneath the work—not novelty for its own sake.
